Whether you're 9 or 90, we offer a whole range of individual one day practical courses and distinctly different demonstrations, designed to suit everyone from novice to Nigella... a course for all reasons and all seasons!

Festive celebrations at Lucy Cooks

NEW! Champagne & Cupcake Decorating - An Indulgent Treat

Take the stress out of a half-term or Christmas break with an indulgent afternoon of champagne and cupcakes.

You’ll start the day at 2pm, when you’ll meet fellow guests and be given an introduction to the cookery school and how it came into being. You’ll begin by making delicious chocolate truffles and chocolate-dipped strawberries in our spacious AGA kitchen, after which you will be seated at our dining table with a cold glass of champagne and your chocolate dipped strawberry creations.

Cupcakes are the main event here, and the tried and tested recipes are fantastic to know, especially in the current market where cupcakes are very much ‘on-trend’. After a cupcake demonstration by our resident baker, you can indulge your artistic side when you ice and decorate your cakes.

If you manage to resist eating everything on the day, you’ll have the opportunity to take your lovingly decorated cupcakes and delicious homemade truffles home with you at 5pm. To share, or keep all to yourself!
