A feast of Cumbrian speciality foods that could include Baked Lemons filled with Morecambe Bay shrimps and Keldthwaite gold cheese, a casserole of wild boar finishing with Grasmere Gingerbread crumble bread and butter pudding with Cumberland Rum Butter... the menu changes with the seasons so come and delight your taste buds with our Cumbrian Demo & Dine!
Rather like a 'culinary bookclub’ without the homework' The evening commences at 6.30pm with a welcome "LucyCooktail" drink and introduction to fellow guests, you can have a good look around the facilities at LucyCooks and hopefully be inspired to come and 'cook' on another occasion. You will then be seated 'dinner party' style in our lovely big Aga kitchen and enjoy watching one of our chefs demonstrate cumbrian food, upon which you will then dine. There is a large plasma screen, so plenty of visibility. Wine, soft drinks and beer will be available to purchase. Handy hints will be freely given out and there will be the opportunity to ask questions. This is a most enjoyable 'alternative' dining experience whether you wish to come with friends or alone.
(We aim to finish the evening at 10.00pm – however, you may be having so much fun that you stay a little longer!-please advise us if you have any dietary requirements
