LUCYCOOKS LAUNCHES BABY SHOWERS!

Lake District cookery school, LucyCooks, is making it easy for the friends of mums-to-be to lay on one of the ‘in’ events of the 21st century – a baby shower!

The cookery school has launched a new baby shower bespoke option, which will allow the family and friends of expectant mothers to organise a stress-free baby shower event, which doesn’t wreak havoc in any one’s home!

The package can be tailored to whatever the organisers wish to lay on, whether this is a delightful surprise for the mum, or whether she is in on the inspirational plans. Groups can bring their own decorations, such as balloons, and create a unique baby shower ambience in the beautiful riverside AGA room at LucyCooks, based in Staveley near Kendal.

The group can decadently sip bubbly and toast the mum-to-be on the riverside terrace, while using the room as their base for games and present unwrapping. Here, they can also arrange a wow factor element to the baby shower, by watching a cookery demonstration by a LucyCooks chef, before tucking in to the delicacies served up, whether that is cake, canapés or chocolate treats! Food-themed games can also be suggested by the LucyCooks team.

Those wishing to be hands-on, could opt to include a practical cookery session within their baby shower, perhaps decorating cupcakes or making chocolate truffles, which are then enjoyed as a relaxing afternoon tea. They could even learn how to make little treats that baby might like once he or she also falls in love with food, by concocting a variety of themed biscuits.

Goody bags of the culinary creations can be given to all attendees, so everyone can take away a little something from LucyCooks along with memories of a fabulous event.
